We’re excited to be a part of this Malibu tradition and bring you amazing food and entertainment featuring some of your all-time favorite local restaurants, businesses, artisans, and DJ performances! Yes, we’ll have rides . . . and a bunch of other new goodies to try, too! All proceeds from the Chili Cook-off will benefit The Boys & Girls Club of Malibu as well as its partner local, youth-based organizations in Malibu.

We care about Malibu and it shows! On-site recycling, waste bins & composting will be available throughout the Chili Cook-off site to promote responsible waste. All food and drinks are offered using eco-friendly serving products & cutlery!

Barefoot Dreams Lounge! Our wine & beer lounge will include wonderful beverages, live acoustic performances, and DJ performances.
Skateboard Mini-Ramp presented by Malibu Village! You can watch local pros do their thing, show-off your tricks, and learn from coaches! Saturday Aug 31 at 3PM will be the inaugural Johnny Strange Legacy Competition.
The Chili Cook-off is one of Malibu’s longest traditions! Any cook or chef from beginner to professional can show off their skills and compete to make the best chili in town in this fun, competitive Chili Cook-off challenge! Both traditional and vegan entries are welcome! There is both a judge panel and a fan favorite!
The 2019 Chili Competition is presented by Vintage Grocers & Trancas Country Market.
